Fansack

Pang Fan, working under the artist name Fansack, left Chengdu to pursue his studies in France. In the 21st century, at the age of twenty, he followed in the footsteps of ancient travellers, but with a contemporary vision.
For Fansack, every landscape, every face encountered along the way becomes a source of artistic inspiration. Unlike Xuanzang, he is not searching for sacred texts, but rather capturing the beauty and diversity of the world through his art. His journey is a visual celebration, in which every stage is a work in itself.
Whether through Xuanzang's search for spiritual truths or Fansack's quest for artistic expression, both embody the eastern dream of a mystical India. Their journeys, though separated by centuries and by different motivations, are united by a shared quest for transcendence and personal discovery.
For Fansack, every scene is a living painting, an immersion in creativity. This exhibition invites us to see the world through their eyes: "A flower, a universe; a leaf, a Buddhist wisdom." Carrying their quest within them, they transform their surroundings into an extension of their inner vision.
I hope with all my heart that Fansack finds his own "artistic India," and that in this modern journey he discovers not only the essence of art, but also inner peace and fulfilment.
